DESCRIPTION:Due to the weather (rain\, rain go away!) Taco De Mayo has been POSTPONED!  \nWe’re sorry for the inconvenience\, but no one likes a soggy taco.  \nAs soon as we have a new date set we will let you know!  \n  \nIt’s Taco Time!  \nTaco De Mayo\, the Cumberland Area’s first-ever Taco Festival. You’ll enjoy the many taco vendors as well as the dessert vendors (yum!). Wash it all down with a beer (brought to you by Western Maryland Distributing) or from the Margarita Bar. Take some time to wander through the Craft vendors\, and the kids activities (think games and face painting).  Feel free to dress the part and maybe you will take home the “Best Dressed” award.  But definitely buy tacos from the individual taco vendors to decide who takes the “Giant Taco Trophy” for the Best Taco in the tri-state! \nAll this plus music from he area’s best party Bands\, Butterscotch Blonde\, Jaded\, Promising Leith\, Wayward Son\, and Tonedeaf. SUMMARY:Bikes for the World
DESCRIPTION:Donate Your Old Bikes!\n\nHave an old\, repairable bike in your basement or garage taking up storage space?  Want to put it to good use and make a difference?  Donate it to the Cumberland Area Bikes for the World collection on Saturday\, May 21st.  Bikes will be collected at Canal Place from 10 am to 12 noon.   They will also accept portable sewing machines (no table models please)!  Bikes can also be dropped off at Cumberland Trail Connection at Canal Place two weeks prior to the event.  It is suggested that a voluntary $10 donation be given to help offset the cost of shipping bikes to both domestic and international locations.   Don’t have a bike but want to help ? Monetary donations can be accepted the day of the drive as well and your donation is tax deductible and can change someone’s life!\n\nCheck out the Bikes for the World Flyer here! \n
