The C&O Canal Trust is having a Canal Clean Up Day and volunteers are needed.
Join them for an important volunteer clean up day here in Cumberland starting at the area near Canal Place. The Canal Trust personnel onsite for this event will be teaching volunteers about “Leave No Trace” principles and also about responsible recreation. And for all your help you will get a t-shirt! The day will begin at 9am and go until Noon. Meet them at the Stage at the Canal Place Festival Grounds.
