The C&O Canal Trust is currently collecting signatures in support of towpath resurfacing dollars from the Maryland State Highways Administration’s Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) for 18 miles in Allegany County. The towpath runs by so many of our doors in Allegany County, won’t you please be an advocate for making it a safe and smooth place for everyone (visitors and locals) to enjoy? The petition link below will be available until Midnight on May 10th. Let’s help keep the funding for the towpath’s repair and resurfacing coming to it!
