Celebrate the MD 250 in Allegany County with this free all day celebration of our history, heritage, and community. Vote for your favorite art and photo submitted by local kids and neighbors on the plaza at Canal Place. Enjoy free music and entertainment all day at the Festival Grounds. Take a ride on the WMSR and hear about our local history. (ride narrated by local historian) Help us plant our time capsule at Canal Place and enjoy many other events in and around Downtown Cumberland. This only happens every 250 years....so don't miss it!
