The Frostburg Museum is home to significant exhibitions reflecting life in Frostburg during the 19th and 20th centuries. Displays include artifacts detailing the history of coal mining, a gallery of toys, glassware, farming implements, military memorabilia, artifacts from former businesses and household items used in daily life.

Frostburg’s Arion Band is considered the oldest community band in the United States. (est.1877) Several instruments and uniforms from various time periods are on display.
The extensive collections of photographs and genealogical information assist visitors researching family and local history. Rounding out the Museum’s collections is the outdoor kiosk containing the Braddock Stone, a carved highway marker dating to the mid-1800’s which figures prominently in the area’s ties to the Braddock Trail.
