Bids for FY19 through FY21 Independent Financial Audits Now Being Accepted

Canal Place Preservation & Development Authority (CPPDA) is seeking bids for the performance of the agency’s FY19, FY20 and FY21 independent financial audits. These audits would be done preferably at the Canal Place offices but accommodations can be made to have portions of the audit done remotely. Start dates are negotiable for FY19 and FY20 but ideally, all audits would begin by mid to late August of 2021 and all audits will be completed before the end of 2021.

Canal Place is a small Independent State Agency with an annual budget that does not generally exceed $1 million dollars. As such, the selected auditor will need to be approved and certified by the State of Maryland to conduct the audit. Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) as well as members of the Small Business Reserve (SBR) program are encouraged to apply. The CPPDA has the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

Interested bidders should submit quotes by March 31st, 2021, by email to the Executive Director of Canal Place, Deidra Ritchie, at this email address: deidra.ritchie@maryland.gov.
