The Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority is inviting proposals from a qualified Consultant to develop a comprehensive update to the Management Plan for the rebranded Passages of the Western Potomac Heritage Area.
Questions should be directed to Deidra Ritchie, Executive Director of the CPPDA, at (301) 268-7456. The RFP is due by 12:00 PM, on Friday, July 15, 2022, (no exceptions). Proposals should be emailed to deidra.ritchie@maryland.gov
Minority Business Enterprise companies are encouraged to bid. The CPPDA has the right to accept or reject any and all proposals.
On July 7, 2022, the following entry has been removed from the RFP, along with its corresponding footnote.
Section II-Scope of Work, Task 1-Project Planning, Item#3-An inventory and evaluation of properties located within the proposed areas of expansion that are: (i) designated either locally or on the National Register as historic property; (ii) eligible for designation as historic property; or (iii) not eligible for designation but may qualify as ‘certified historic structure’ under the Heritage Structure Rehabilitation Tax Credit Program because the property contributes to the significance of the heritage area (see COMAR 34.04.07.02B.(5)(iv))
All other portions of the RFP remain the same.
